Robert Cox 14x15" Signed Oil Painting Pink Rose Bouquet Vintage Floral Art

Robert Cox (1934–2001) — “Rose Bouquet” Original Oil Painting Signed lower right. Circa 1970s–80s. Oil on canvas, framed in giltwood with black velvet liner. Framed dimensions: approx. 13¾" x 15½" Softly rendered bouquet of pink and white blossoms in a round vase, set against a pastel blue-green background. Cox’s signature palette knife technique creates a textured, luminous surface. This piece was originally sold through the Starving Artists Group, a traveling art collective that brought affordable original art to American households in the mid-20th century. The original $14 price sticker remains affixed to the back, alongside a “Made in Mexico” frame stamp and handwritten inventory notation. Condition: Light wear to frame consistent with age; canvas clean and stable.  Provenance: From the estate of the seller’s grandfather, who purchased the work during the artist’s active period.
