Vintage Moroccan Clay Tagine Cooking Vessel Beautiful handcrafted earthenware rust colored tagine. Looks identical to the Sur La Table ones listed on here and online but I don’t see a label/stamp. Approx 8inch diameter A tajine or tagine (Arabic: طاجين) is a North African dish, named after the earthenware pot in which it is cooked. It is also called maraq or marqa. For roasting meats and vegetables for couscous and many other dishes. Makes a great decorative piece as well! For a catch all or forcing bulbs etc.
