RARE vintage 1970s peignoir, marabou feather trim, angel sleeves, glam Hollywood

Rare vintage 1970s Hollywood Regency style loungewear. This peignoir was made in Canada by Louson Lingerie, Québec. It has dramatic angel sleeves and is trimmed with marabou feathers at the collar and cuffs. It has 3 layers: the top one has the sleeves and is gathered at the neck, dropping in a long V on both the front and the back. It is opened in the back. The second layer is ankle length, zips in the back and closes at the back of the neck with an hook-and-eye. The inner layer is nylon, starts at the waist and ads a few inches to the dress, making it floor length. It is very small, however the second layer could likely be tailored by a professional, removing the zipper and adding a closure to the outer layer. Excellent vintage condition, only noted issue is some yellowing of the nylon under lining, with minor stains. Barely visible. Feather trim is in excellent condition with one spot on one of the sleeves being a less full, maybe missing a few feathers. Please see pictures for accuracy. This item can be hand washed and hung to dry. It has been laundered using scent free detergent and without fabric softener.
