This set of 5 bread & butter plates in the Blue Whisper pattern by Sheffield features soft blue florals and platinum trim on bright white porcelain. Each plate measures approximately 6 3/8 inches in diameter and is in excellent, unused condition—no chips, cracks, or utensil marks. Made in Japan and discontinued in the 1980s, this pattern remains a favorite for its understated elegance and vintage charm. A perfect addition for collectors, entertainers, or anyone looking to complete a cherished set. Sheffield is a trademark used by various importers and distributors of fine dinnerware throughout the mid-20th century, often associated with elegant porcelain patterns manufactured in Japan. While not tied to a single factory, Sheffield-branded china is known for its quality craftsmanship and timeless designs, including the beloved Blue Whisper pattern. Popular during the 1980s, these pieces were typically sold through department stores and giftware catalogs, offering affordable luxury with delicate floral motifs and platinum accents.
