J Crew Mercantile Checkered Flannel W/ Elbow Patches J Crew is a decent brand if you're a fan of the 'Ralph Lauren Aesthetic.' Most of their clothing these days are manufactured in China, which usually results in low quality garments. This piece however, was made in Mauritius which boasts an excellent garment industry know for their high quality manufacturing. This is vintage-2015, so not an exceptionally old garment, but does show it's age as well as wear and tear. It is in a size S but, It would generally fit you if you wear a size M. This piece is notable for its inclusion of elbow patches. Which is not typical for the J Crew of 2025. (I've kept my eyes open for similar offerings but have failed to find anything in their catalogue since.) If you're looking for a broken-in flannel for autumn, this would be a great addition to your wardrobe. This would be perfect for a petite lady looking for a 'I stole my boyfriend's flannel' sort-of vibe.
