*On occasion the lens retracts when camera is started. Error noted and advises to restart the camera. Camera restarts and takes photos w/flash and video as well. Aside from this issue, the camera works fine. Clean inside and out with no rust or corrosion in battery compartment. Runs on 2AA batteries (not included). Some signs of normal use and wear on exterior (a few micro scratches on view finder screen as to be expected along with a couple of small blemishes on the top of the camera near the flash). When shipping, I try and use recycled products where I can (boxes, packing items, etc.).
