Vintage Pre MCM Metales Casados Made in Mexico Fish Brooch

Metales Casados translates to Married Metals. With a base of Sterling Silver. Copper, Brass, and possibly Nickel were inlaid and worked into this beautiful and skillfully made piece. Hecho En Mexico is simply Made in Mexico. No Eagle Stamp or specific location means this was crafted before 1948 when Mexico implemented the Eagle Hallmark. It's gorgeous and a not as commonly found. I cleaned him up some so all his colors show well. He's in beautiful condition and would be an amazing addition to any Mexico Sterling fans collection. Also, his name is Greg.
