Black Knit Military Look Coat Dress with beautiful gold buttons trimmed in gold braid by Leslie Fay Petite Collections. This is a classic 1980s look - that would have been accessorized with gold hoop or clip on earrings, rings and bracelets. You can wear it as a Dress or as a Lightweight Coat over something else - such as light pants and a blouse or a silky dress. I have shown it with and without a a gold chain belt. Belt is not included but these chain belts are easy to find everywhere. And any style gold chain belt will work. This is a very chic French Looking style in my opinion. It totally reminds me of Ines de la Fressange - the French model who gained fame as Designer Karl Lagerfeld's 1980s Muse for Chanel. This is an easy to wear polished style. the fabric is an acrylic knit. The Coat Dress unbuttons all the way down like a coat or you can button it all the way and wear it as a dress. It has pockets and it has small but definitive shoulder pads to help provide the square shouldered 80's & traditional military jacket looks. I would leave the shoulder pads in. They are not extreme and they do give the garment the necessary polish. The designer labels are all present as pictured. Dress is labeled a Size 8 Petite. I think it fits like a Reg size versus a Petite.
