From the late 1800's, these are a wedding set of Etruscan style matching bangles. The tradition was to give one as a gift at engagement and the other at the wedding. They are in good condition with working clasps and safety chains. The engraving or gold wire is on the front and the backs are smooth. I couldn't find a makers mark but believe they are most likely gold-fill used to make most bangles of this nature at the time. The original patina is present with some signs of tarnish and imperfections. They are small, I'm guessing a 5-6 inch wrist size, and they are about 1/2 inch high (please see photos).
