This was an oil lamp at one time that has been converted into an electric lamp. The cord has a switch on it and you can also turn it on and off using the wick winder. Designer: unknown Period: Victorian, dating to the late 19th century Type: Banquet or Parlor oil lamp at- converted at some point to an electric lamp Materials: pink milk glass top and a fluted brass column and base Makers Mark: 23 Measurements: 19" h x 7.5" d at base (7" d top milk glass diameter) Condition: excellent antique condition with no damage, some signs of use/wear but considering the age it is in amazing condition. One prong is missing from the top (used to hold the shade). Does not come with shade but these can easily be purchased online, I have some in my shop.
