Personal take:
Stretchy and extra comfortable. I got the long size since I like to cover my shoes. I kept the smaller size since I am a 10 on AE jeans but usually like to try the 12 for a more baggy/more relaxed style. Ended up keeping the 10 and selling the 12 now!
