My mom found these many years ago at an old house sale. She never opened it since they’ve been bought. I don’t know what is in the jar exactly. You can see some through the glass. I did see some old pearl, some metal and other plastics. Not sure if it could be Bakelite or not because I’m not opening it. I thought about it almost did it but then I have so much stuff to go through of my my mom’s I figured I’d give someone else a thrill. The tape around the lid has literally dry rotted around it so you may have to soak the lid to get it off I’m not sure it’s an old Hellmann’s 32 ounce quart size mayonnaise jar. Good luck.
