🪖 1970 U.S. Air Force Officer Dress Boots — Made in USA, from Overseas Service in Germany
Size: 8½ D
Color: Deep Oxblood / Polished Brown-Black
Material: Genuine Leather Upper, Man-Made Interior
Origin: Made in U.S.A. — Military Issue (Cold War Era, 1970s)
Authentic 1970 U.S. Air Force Officer Dress Boots, from my father’s service while stationed in Germany during the Cold War. These regulation boots were made in the U.S.A. for official Air Force dress uniforms — featuring Goodyear welted soles, zip-side closures, and smooth full-grain leather uppers built for precision and shine.
Each boot displays the original internal military stamp:
> “LEATHER UPPER / OTHER PARTS MAN MADE MATERIAL / MADE IN U.S.A.”
The vamp showcases the classic stitched detailing seen on 1970s officer and ceremonial boots. These have been beautifully preserved with a rich oxblood patina — embodying American craftsmanship and family military history.
⭐️ Excellent Vintage Condition
Clean interiors, supple leather, and clear manufacturer markings
Soles and heels are solid with minimal wear
Zippers function perfectly
Light creasing and vintage patina consistent with age.
These belonged to my father, a U.S. Air Force officer stationed in Germany in 1970, and have remained in our family collection ever since. A genuine heirloom from the Cold War era — ideal for collectors, reenactors, or heritage wear enthusiasts.
