This Jovani gown has been waiting for someone to do it justice again. Originally purchased in 2003 for $475, about $800 today, this is a genuine piece from Jovani’s early formal era. The craftsmanship shows: hand-beaded sequins scatter across the bodice and cascade down through the skirt in a starburst pattern, set against color-shifting fabric that reads copper in warm light and deep lavender-purple in cool light. The mermaid silhouette is structured and fitted through the body, flaring at the hem with a slight train. Delicate spaghetti straps were added when new and can be removed if you prefer the original strapless look. Comes with the original matching shawl. Excellent vintage condition. Minor age-consistent wear, nothing that reads on camera or in person.
