This is ground black walnut hulls from our 100 foot walnut tree. If you enlarge the last picture it list some ways you can use the hull. The hull is the outside of the nut and it is green on the tree but turns black fast. I gather them, let them dry and remove the hulls. These are finely ground. I have 2 trees so I have tubs, and barrels full if anyone is interested in any. I like to make garlands with them and add to potpourri. Lots of people throw away the hulls and shell but they can be used for many things. They make a wonderful hair dye, kill parasites, etc. Check online about the many uses for black walnut hulls. These were gathered last October. 1 can ground up any amount for you if interested as long as it's not over Poshmarks weight limit. This bag contains 1/2 pound dried hulls.
