1950’s NAVY yellow gold toned sweetheart locket brooch pen with white pearl-like detail on the heart with a gold tone Navy like anchor and USA in gold tone on the heart. The locket is meant to hold 2 small pictures. The locket is held shut by one clasp and it is weak and when closed causes a gap at the bottom of the locket. See photo.Please note the locket does open spontaneously at times due to the weak clasp. The clasp used to wear the locket is intact and works without any difficulty. There are age marks on the back of the heart. See photos closely. The gold tone is a little worn as to be expected from something this old and well used. Approximately 1 3/4” wide and 1 1/2” long. The pictures it holds are very small. An original Navy locket brooch given to me by a navy chef from years ago. A nice piece for a collector of Navy memorabilia.
