Publisher: "Offenbach s/M chez Jean André" the historic music publishing house founded by Johann André (also known as Jean André) in the city of Offenbach am Main, Germany (s/M stands for "sur le Main", or "on the Main"). The firm was a prominent publisher of classical music from the late 18th to the 19th centuries Black graphics - single white mat - black half-inch frame. Excellent antique condition. Repurposed sheet music covers and music discarded and rescued have been transformed into lovely pieces of art -one of a kind designs. Lightweight 11 x 14 inch MDF wood frames; sheet music & covers are custom mounted/matted and covered by plexiglass front and back. This series has a lovely & unexpected backing board of either a corresponding music page; or collages of similar aged music sheets. Custom hand-mounted metal fasteners and sawtooth picture hanger.
