From 2010 to 2021, the United States Mint released its “America the Beautiful” quarter collection. 56 coins were minted depicting national parks and other national sites on the reverse (back). In 2019 and 2020, the Mint decided to produce a small portion of the quarters at the West Point Mint in Virginia. This was the first time ever that a circulating coin was minted with a ‘W’ mint mark. This quarter features Weir Farm National Historic Park, former home of the father of American impressionism, Julien Weir. Out of the 282,600,000 Weir Farm quarters produced in 2020, only 2 million had the ‘W’ mint mark. The quarters also have a ‘V75’ privy mark on the obverse (front) to commemorate World War II that ended 75 years earlier. The quarter is in fine circulated condition with nicks & scrtatches and some discoloration on the obverse.
