60s Vintage Malcolm Starr Red Satin Swing Coat

This is a gorgeous 1960s vintage swing coat made by Malcolm Starr. The fabric features a geometric stain jacquard pattern made up of repeating squares and diamond motifs. Each square is framed with subtle raised woven lines, and inside each one is a four-pointed diamond that creates a slightly three-dimensional, quilted effect. The coat has pleats in both the back and front, closes up the front with fabric covered buttons, and has a rounded collar. Marked a vintage 14 - approx a medium. Overall in good vintage condition with a few small scuffs to the fabric.
