@annoster idk my closet is the same that happened last week to me the format was messed i couldn't comment I uninstalled the app then reinstalled it maybe try that gosh its sad what they are doing w their updates and you message them at support@poshmark.com and they don't respond last week i sent then 28 email no lie and not one response I got but try to message them and complain xxoo

I know it's a little, well a whole lot frustrating all with what's going on w posh, thus far my profile/closet hasn't changed yet. All we can do is really everyone contact and complain to posh in hopes of someone responding to us..
Some cannot find the follow button and share as well, my profile format changed last week then after uninstalling and reinstalling the app and few times I was locked out for 3 days w still no response from posh.

Many annoying things going on but my phone still shows followers at top heading but looking up my own previous shares are definitely different and annoying to backtrack 🙄 and I agree that losing shares in our feed doesn’t seem to be helpful to any of us Plus they set the search st “RELEVANCE” instead of Just Shared!!! Which also seems to go against us! I’m extremely disappointed 😔

Poshmark use to do more for the sellers like Posh and Sip and promotional items you could purchase campaigns etc. Everyone should be emailing customer service. I thought that Posh Ambassador 2 were supposed to get a quick response from customer service and other benefits but we don’t. I love this share group period.

@kowie58 They do not want to give up control. That's why they don't say anything before they make changes. And they sit back and watch thousands of emails come in to support complaining. This is the way big corp. works. I've lived it. They will keep pushing until we push back. Will we take our power back???

Well I just messed it up - I
updated my app and now I don’t have the same header anymore- I see we can follow “blues” in the “Find new ppl” section and under “New Poshers“ shared at the bottom of a person’s “About Me” page but those aren’t necessarily going to follow back and interact bc they’re New and most new ppl don’t ..in my experience 🙄 Posh doesn’t want us sharing and socializing on here it feels like 👎 such a disappointment😢

I've scrolled and read everyone's comments... It seems like the writing is on the wall for me. I've only been selling for a few years, and it seems as soon as I get a little bit of traction, Poshmark does something else weird and my slowly dripping faucet of sales goes from a trickle to being completely shut off. I messaged them about the top of my closet page overlapping, and they just sent me the standard message they're sending everyone else.

And I feel totally discombobulated by these changes, in fact I limited my time on the app yesterday when I discovered that sharing to followers had been seemingly eradicated. Yesterday I didn’t share anywhere because I felt 😩🫨lost in Posh Oblivion. You KNOW that they aren’t doing feasibility studies before making all of these changes! They seem to have their head up their arse!

But idk exactly what that means bc they truly made a bleeping mess on here 4 sharing (no more bulk shares!)😒but apparently, this change is based on what’s best 4the shopper & apparently they weren’t using the feed much- they were “searching”what they wanted- so now our items r pushed by “relevance”🤷🏻♀️it’s definitely got me deflated and mildly feral lol

1. Bulk Sharing is gone
Poshmark is moving away from the sharing aspect of Poshmark. Those newly posted listings are not going to automatically float you to the top anymore.

You can still share individual items one at a time, but they said their focus is moving towards buyers getting a better experience and buyer retention. So what do you do now: Going forward their advice is to make sure you are listing items with good titles/images/descriptions, drop prices for older listings that are not selling, refresh 90 day old items with maybe new pictures/keywords/titles to get eyes on them, do 2-3 rounds of offers to likers a day, and list daily.

4. . Live Sell Bundles
Basically if someone buys from you in a live show, and within a three hour window, that person then buys something else post show from your closet, you will have the ability to then bundle the items without having to cancel their order and do a whole other bundle.

. Smart Sell
If YOU have activated the smart sell feature on a listing, it is now automatically sending an offer to anyone that likes that listing. You set your minimum price you will take and smart sell does the rest by countering to try and get you the highest price it can for that listing. Ex. I have an item for $90, my lowest I will take is $60, when someone liked it, it automatically offered the potential buyer $78.

See someone in a cute shirt in a store or maybe in a magazine, snap a photo, the AI essentially will pull up similar or same items in the app and indicate keywords you need to use to search for said items essentially helping you shop for same/similar items in real time. This is really why when you are listing an item as a seller, you don't post vague things like "cool shirt."

It is just my busy time of year in "real life," and too many new things to navigate here. Additionally, as a buyer, I liked seeing how many followers people have, it gave me a bit more confidence that they've been on the app awhile. @belladonna1313 Thanks sweetheart!! That’s a lot of info!! I had read that sharing doesn’t do anything but yet it’s the only way to rearrange your closet. Drag and drop would be awesome. I think we can all agree, without buyers, we’d be pretty bored, but at the same time, if they cater to much to the buyers, they won’t have any sellers. Maybe they should look at lowering their 20% commission. It would lower prices…surely they are making profit hand over fist at that rate.

@belladonna1313 - While on the mobile app, you can no longer follow users from others closets, you can at least follow back under: “Seller Tools”. Under the Seller Insights section, there is a “Followers” and “Following” tab. Sorry if this is a repeat.
I have to say, since I have quit blindly clicking the blue button and researched the seller a little, my spam followers have all but disappeared. No more alphabet soup followers.

Thanks Bella so much for all of the information. It does seem like posh is getting more buyer less seller friendly. I do not feel like we are getting a whole lot for our 20%, we have to work so much harder now to get our items out there. Also, if anybody has had any experience with sharing at parties, I’d like to hear it.

I don't feel like I would encourage anyone to join Posh and sell on there because you can't really describe the app to him very much. it's not what it used to be that's for sure. I hope that they fix the share button and give us back our follow button. that would be wonderful

Makes your closet active when u share, therefore when u are active it has priority to show in the "for you" section, making it easier for buyers to see what's truly available vs. not see inactive closets items....hope that makes sense.

@reneeaissance well Idk if I have it figured out, but I'm doing what I can one day at a time...for now, I'm sharing when I can to show that I have been active and focusing on listing items instead, because u can't sell what u don't have listed....time goes on, am I happy about all the changes? no, it would have been better with some type of notice but do what u can THAT DAT, one day at a time.

@lisasdeals337 That was not shade. I WANT you to figure it out. I want to figure it out. The key to long term success on PM has been when the sellers figure out what’s driving the algorithm and are kind enough to share that info. I think focusing on posting new items is a good strategy. With everything going on I’ve fallen off recently while I attempted other strategies. And it certainly can’t hurt.

@belladonna1313 Here's what I have been doing so I can follow tons of blues! Just a note: I Posh on an older Android - I don't have an iPad or laptop. -- Click on the FEED button. Now look for the person/spyglass icon in the upper right. Click on it and look for "New People". Click there and toggle between "Fresh Closets" and "Just Joined" and collect those blues! I've gained approx 50 per day (followed about 250) and made 3 sales with new Posters last week!

@cjk5940 I did. I have emailed support since the shipping change happened. I have probably emailed them almost twenty times about all the different changes. It takes at least 3 emails to get a real response and not a generic form letter. The other day when I made a listing a pop-up came on and asked if I was "enjoying PoshMark." I replied no, then it took me to a place to write an email to support. I encourage all users to use this pop-up to your advantage.
