80s Vintage Red Knit Mini Dress

This is an iconic 1980s Don Sayres for Wellmore knit mini dress in a striking, lipstick-red hue. It features that classic 80s structured silhouette with strong shoulders (shoulder pads), short sleeves, and the most incredible black trim detailing down the front with a front zipper and tassel. The gold decorative buttons give it a bold, almost military-inspired feel — very “power woman” era in the best way. Made of a soft medium weight knit that will fit a range of sizes, though marked a size 8. Overall in good vintage condition - has some mended holes in the front of the skirt.
