NWOT COS Black Textured Sleeveless Dress

This fabric is gorgeous- there is just enough shimmer in the thread to be very dressy, but the cut is so flexible that it can be worn to a dinner that is less formal. Absolutely perfect for the holidays! This fabric is and softer than the feathered elements may look, as one can worry that threads rising from the hem will irritate the skin: these do not! The thinness of both dress and lining mean that there is a lot of swish and body-con movement, peeking through the more rectangular shape. Important to note: the fabric across the chest is sort of a placard that extends about 1.5 inches wider than the armpit on both sides, emphasizing the design of the shoulders. I tried to capture this in photos, but please comment with questions. A quietly luxurious showstopper!
