I put them both on and didn’t detect any damage. That said they have no stains either. My hands are small but my fingers are long. The cotton thread will stretch some. I estimate they are from 20s to the 30s. They belonged to my mom’s grandmother I believe. They need to be treated with care but the cotton thread is strong. The flowers at the wrist really make these exquisite.

Exquisite 🥰
These actually appear to be fr early 20th c; ~1910 by thread wt & length/style. By the 20s long gloves were mostly out of fashion altho did come back in the 30s,. By then crochet wasn't in - long gloves were more likely stretchy rayon or silk fabric

Short gloves were popular again in the 40s & crochet enjoyed a bit of a resurgence, bt mostly for items like doilies & placemats. In the 50s long gloves were usually kid or satin. This is “Irish crochet,” popular in Victorian-Edwardian period; sorry got carried away on my soap box
Really quite lovely 🥰
