Antique Star Brooch With Purple Rhinestone

This brooch was most likely made between 1880 and the early 1900's, based on the type of clasp used. The metal type is unknown, but it shined up well when I cleaned it. The rhinestone is quite possibly amethyst or a high-quality cut glass. It features a loop at the top if wearing it as a pendant was desired.
