psanders2021 @jet122802 hi dear. Sorry for the delay. I just arrived back home. I do see the crack you mentioned. It does go through to the inside. It’s just because it’s dry and that is what wood does. It is a beautiful piece of wood. I will just fill it with filler and seal it. I have an apothecary and will just use it for dry ingredients. You are very sweet though!! Take care. 💖
