Wade Whimsies vintage ceramic figurine. This is the Blue Goose, marked "Wade Eng." on the base (made in England). This piece is from the Noah's Ark series. Size: about 1.5 inches. Pre-owned in very good condition (no chips or cracks). It does have a bit of wear from age (see photos). Each figurine is glazed ceramic manufactured in England by Wade. Wade Pottery was started in England in the 1950's by George Wade, and are known for making a wide assortment of figurines, mostly little animals but also some people and other figures. These figurines were included in boxes of tea, and I even remember them in chocolate easter eggs as a little girl growing up in England.
