Rare Vintage WWII 1940’s Army Paratrooper Soldier Military Parachute Rag Doll

Rare vintage WWII parachute rag doll with parachute & original box. Named “Pat Parachute” these rag dolls were made & then dropped to children in Britain during WWII. Made by Charity Bundles for Britain Inc. The doll was designed by American Elvy Kaley. It features a painted wood head, & body of stuffed felt. A Royal Air Force patch is hand sewn onto body. Attached to the doll is a rayon parachute. When thrown into the air the doll would drift back down. The doll is in overall good condition for its age. It does include the original box- but it has came apart in several areas- however it’s rare to even find the original box even in this condition. Comes with original instructions. This is great for the collector or to own a piece of history. (A4)
