This exquisite gold ring showcases a captivating natural 1karat natural opal, adding elegance to any ensemble. This piece is fresh from my jewelers studio for my Celestial Kharma Collection 2026. This piece represents Hale-Bopp that made a huge impact on me in 1996 while traveling through the California and Nevada desert. It was a HUGE bright multi color celestial event that followed us as we drove. It was an incredible experience! This piece is made of solid 925 sterling silver dipped in 24k gold with a single 1karat natural opal. I have made this an open design so that it can fit several different fingers. It has a serpent skin design on the band. Please ask questions and make an offer. I can't say yes if you don't ask!

@lindseylily Hey there, Thank you for your interest! All of your questions can be answered in the detailed description of each listing. Also take a look at the "about me" tab that also gives lots of details on my jewelry collection.

@avelonsattic The way it’s worded is a little confusing dipped? Is that plated?

@lindseylily I dip the sterling in the molten gold. plating is done via chemical reaction that eventually wears off.

@lindseylily Think of a strawberry being dipped in molten chocolate. when it cools it hardens and stays put. gold plating wastes expensive gold because it wears off quickly as it it is done with chemicals & electricity. I don't plate my pieces or use either of these methods. I'm a gemoligist & metallurgist and make my pieces to last. Gold is too expensive for me to allow it to wear off after the first use as most plating does. Hope this helps

@avelonsattic I am aware gold doesn’t tarnish however certain rings that are labeled “gold” still do an I don’t take off my jewelry so just asking question to understand what I may be buying!
