Black nylon with zip closure. Tons of room inside for all the essentials when traveling. I've used this for years and it's held up beautifully. The raised top also meant I could add additional pouches on top of the mesh zip divider inside and zip everything up together. In excellent used condition. Nylon fabric is easy to wipe down, but I did note one faint spot on the side, as shown in pic #6. Also some minimal residue on interior from use. May come out with additional cleaning efforts; I only used a wet wipe.
