devondansky@heyrosho hi! laying flat the width is about 7.5 inches; all around the top of the calf measures about 16 inches

devondansky@kathleenhaller I think this is dependent on your calf size! the calf opens up more at the top, but there is no zipper (just a bit of stretchy area) to open up further down in the shoe in getting it on. I have pretty muscular calves so they unfortunately are not roomy enough for me :) If you want to try them and they don't fit right you're welcome to send them back
