Art deco 1920 1940 Antique white beaded Sleeveless Formal midi flapper Dress Glamours heavy beading on a textured off white cream colored cocktail dress. Designed in a sleeveless shift with a flirty skirt and a beaded boatneck. Stunning art deco dress with a straight shift fit with a seam at the natural waist that drops to inverted box pleated on the skirt that hits just below the knee. Heavy glass beads loop over as if it was ribbon with a sprinkling of irregular shaped larger beads. Beads are around the collar, down the front and sides and along the pleats in the skirt making it move in a flapper shimmy as you move. Expert details with piping along the arm holes, Fully lining with a long metal back zipper. Heavy dress with glass beads on what I believe is a textured raw silk. Small yellowed spots from age all throughout the fabric. The spots are everywhere it almost looks as if the fabric was ment to look that way. Needs to be cleaned by a professional to remove the spots.
