Is the fading intentional by the designer? Any stains?

Yes it is the style of distressed and there are no stains. They are so freaking soft on the skin. I wouldn't give them up if I felt I could pull the look off. Tom Ford makes fantastic clothes for men and all his jeans are so comfortable, I have 4 other pairs.
