vtech baby monitor works great. just has this small clicking noise or light sort of static in the background so we got a new one of the exact same one. we love this monitor. has temperature reading, music, lights, alarms for movement or noise, talk feature, etc, everything you would need low price due to that slight background static (not noticeable when doong stuff but when trying to nap when baby naps, this is annoying, so just a heads up!)
