roxysurf458 Hi! They’re not as heavy as the leather doc martens. I would say medium. They’re not feather light, but not heavy/ clunky in my opinion. I have the black ones and I’ve worn them a ton

ahirschi11 How comfortable are they. Just had ankle surgery and thinking something like this could be comfortable but supportive. I've heard a lot of good things about Dr. Martens but not sure if all styles are created equal

roxysurf458 @ahirschi11 Hi! I have the black ones and they’re my most comfortable work shoes. I stand on my feet allll day. I did purchase insoles from Walmart with arch supports and bc these shoes run wide, the insoles go in perfectly. These would fit best if you’re a size 9 like me, but if you plan on wearing insoles/ socks, I think they would be perfect! Sending you well wishes on your healing journey!
