This is the older version of the jacket, which is significantly higher quality than the new one currently sold. My friend owns the newer version and we did a comparison which I will include here for your reference: This jacket has a much higher cotton count while the new one is more polyester. The fringe on this jacket is made of durable, thick leather. The new jacket has super thin, easily ripped fringe that’s poor quality leather. The embroidery on this one is also larger and better quality. I purchased this about 5yrs ago and wore it only twice. I would like to keep it but I have super long arms and need to have tall length clothing.
