This is rare and special on so many levels.
First and foremost, it’s a women’s Filson mackinaw cruiser from the 1950’s. That in itself is rare.
It also began its life as a peppermint patty mackinaw wool colorway and somewhere along the way, it was dyed to this beautiful soft and warm pinkish red muave.
The wool weave is just spectacular and it’s in great condition for its age. Some minor snags and signs of wear.
Note the compass pocket, the enamel snaps, and the Union era label.
Just a really special piece that must go to the right home.

The photo that shows the shoulder width measurement, does this start on the left side seam where the arm attaches to the body of the shirt or does it start at the very outside of the left side of the shoulder/arm?

@dangbt34 It's shoulder seam to shoulder seam of the jacket

I was looking at the photos, what is the one close up photo showing? I meant to ask are there any flaws with the jacket?

@dangbt34 Hi!! Just a minor snag and minor signs of wear as shown in the photos and states in the description. It's in immaculate and almost unheard of condition for its age.

@dangbt34 Glad it's going to a good home. It is by far the most beautiful vintage cruiser I've ever seen and I WISH it was my size!
