The Andover Shop women’s bespoke patch tweed sport coat SZ 4 IMPOSSIBLY RARE

The Andover Shop is a classic Cambridge, MA institution, known for made-to-measure collegiate menswear for over 75 years. Their clothing is made of superior materials in timeless cuts. The most special Andover Shop coats are hand-tailored patchwork tweed sport coats. Years later, these vintage coats are extremely rare. This is the only Andover Shop WOMEN’S vintage patchwork tweed jacket I’ve seen come up for sale in the years I’ve been holding on to it. It’s been stored carefully away from moths and I have only worn it a handful of times since it came into my possession. It’s in excellent vintage condition with no visible holes, stains or other flaws. I understand the shop will recreate the men’s sport coats for $2,000, which is the original price I have noted. Original vintage men’s sell for $1,200 which I have used as benchmark for pricing, as there is no relevant pricing for women’s. This jacket has excellent coloring — based in brown and grey tweed with well-placed accents of red and green panels. It is fully lined, including an extra panel in the underarms. No stains or odors on lining. As a bespoke item, the coat has no tags beyond the brand label. Dry clean only. I approximate the jacket as a size 4.
