This is a used vintage Storybook Knits sweater, size L. The name tag shows this one is called “Santa and Mrs. Claus”. The sweater length is approximately 29” from the shoulder seam to the bottom hem. The front and cuffs are decorated with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, snowflakes and red/white striped trim. The back has one of Santa's boots and one of Mrs. Claus' shoes. The decorative buttons on the front look like Santa’s big chair. If you’re not familiar with Storybook Knits, the working buttons are on the reverse side of the placket. The placket lies flat once buttoned. I was an avid collector of Jamie Gries’ Storybook Knits for years. She used to say each sweater told a story and I couldn’t agree more. The details are amazing. I always got a lot of compliments when I wore one. I recently retired, so am listing some of the sweaters for sale since I won’t have a lot of opportunities to wear them. This comes from a non-smoking home.
