The rich, deep, royal blue fabric of this wide belt has a nice subtle sheen. Intricately braided and adorned with a 4 x 3 inch blue leather buckle. Circa 1980s or 1990s. Belt is 3 inches wide and 39 inches long. It can be adjusted to any size. Never used. Wear it low on the hips or around the waist like Diane Keaton!

So , do I have this right...? The only leather in the belt is covering the buckle, plus the small section connecting to the buckle? And the main belt strap is some sort of fiber or cord?

@duskywing ☀️ Good morning! ☀️ Yes, you are correct. The main belt strap is braided cords made of a lovely durable fabric with a slight shimmer. The 4th and 5th photos show this best. It's a beautiful belt -- very well made.
