What's a routine board? It's a customizable board that teaches children about routines by showing 1 action happening "First" and another happening next, i.e., "Then". Lovevery calls this a "Follow Along Routine Board" and says, "Give your child their very own tools to map out routines, starting with two steps and building up to longer sequences. Introduce the comfort and structure of routines with fun tools that help your child build independence and plan ahead." Lovevery says this toy will build practical life skills by helping to take the frustration out of transitions for children. (It's meant for toddlers 18 months+) The board is made of sturdy plastic and has 2 back pieces like feet for propping the board on a horizontal surface. It can also be hung on a wall. It measures approximately 13.5 x 3 inches. It comes with a set of 18 captioned magnetic pictures that can be swapped on and off the board to visualize whatever routine you want to illustrate. (Examples are: "Play outside" "Mealtime" "Leave House" "Snack Time" and "Clean Up".) There are also 3 blank squares you can fill in yourself. (FYI, I did not unbox the magnets to take photos because I didn't want to get them dusty/linty.) This board is NWT. It was purchased as part of Lovevery's Toddler Routines Mini Kit, but never used.
