40s Inspired Red Novelty Print Paisley Dress Sz SM

This is a beautiful 1940s inspired hand crafted dress. Made of a lightweight red cotton covered in a novelty print pattern of people, Christmas trees, and storybook style houses, paisley, scrolling etc. The bodice features a defined waist with a soft peplum flare, creating that classic 1940s shape that nips in at the waist and then gently releases over the hips. It has short puffed sleeves, a squared neckline and brass tone functional buttons down the front. There is Rickrack trim in white and black along the sleeves, bottom, and neckline, as well as lace at the neckline. The back is slightly pleated. Has a Nordic traditional costume vibe - perfect for Christmas. It has a side metal zipper. Has no size tag - see measurements in photos for best fit. Approx a small.
