This beautiful plate is made of Jasperware Ceramic. This piece is stamped as being made by Wedgwood in England, see pictures, and it was made to commemorate Mothers Day in 1971. This plate is made in a gorgeous all black color scheme with a gold garland design decorating the rim, and the center of the plate features a Grecian style image of a woman and a cherub. This plate does come with a Wedgwood box, but we are unsure if this is the original box for the plate.
