Vintage varsity jacket from Hayden’s Sport Center. Wool body with genuine leather sleeves and snap front. Chenille “I” basketball letter patch on chest. Tagged WPL 11783, dating this piece to the pre-1959 era. Made in U.S.A. Likely high school team jacket. Fully lined. The front pockets need repaired on the inside but otherwise in great shape. 30.5" armpit to armpit x 30" length x 8.5" shoulder x 28" arm

What color is the chenille Varsity letter? Is it orange or is it like a gold or yellow? Because if it's orange this might be a University of Illinois Varsity letterman jacket. I just can't tell by the color in the picture
