livgunn You can counter back instead of just always declining. The point is to reach a price fairly. If you are firm, then just message and say that or put it in the description. I’m looking to buy this bag but it looks a bit worn in the straps and other people have it listed for much less that’s why I’m making an offer. If you won’t go lower then add it to the description so people know

mt5787 @livgunn Hi! It sounds like we have slightly different approaches to Poshmark. Generally when the offer is within range, I counteroffer, but if it's very far off I decline. I did counter offered to start to signal the range I was looking for. I've also added two new photos to the listing - you can see the straps are in perfect condition (they just bend depending where the button sits). I also have the dust bag which I'll include in the sale.

juneyi796 To the above: just a passbyer who should probably mind their own buisness but...as someone who both lists and buys here...you can't be telling people what to do. Everyone has their own style/way of doing things. If either parties miss out on a deal, they miss out. Too bad, accept the loss. You can negotiate over prices but thats about it. Either person can change mind anytime. Buyers pay shipping and tax while sellers lose 20% comission on listing. So obviously everyone wants the best deal.

juneyi796 Further more, as someone who occasionally lists, I wouldn't want to do deals with someone insulting my item and placing their own demands on how I should respond. If you're going to complain about quality for price then buy from the other person whos offering for less. Everyones free to their own opinions and can ask questions and comment on pics but trying to put someone down thinking you can make them lower is just insulting. This is not someone I'd want to interact with. Automatic decline.
