Robert Held Art Glass Vase Iridescent Freeform Vintage 1981 Calgary

In 1978-1987 Robert Held opened his own glass studio known as Skookum Art Glass, in Calgary, Alberta. This vase is dated 1981, so is from the early Skookum years. Have scoured the internet, and have not found another piece in this pattern. Retired, and I believe he’s 82 now. No condition issues with this vase. Glass is thick, has good weight. Aqua blue to green toward the base. Purple, green, blue iridescence. Measures 8” height, 3 3/4” top diameter. Signed R. Held, dated 1981 on the bottom next to the pontil mark.
