1960s / 1970s Gastown Suede and Shearling Penny Lane Coat - S/M

12/21/25 Note: Just posted yesterday and not super flexible on the price, but feel free to make your best offer. There are lots of Penny Lane coats on the market but this is special: the beautiful tailoring and piecing, the rich rust color, the sensible sassy length, the way the plush shearling is balanced in the design. It’s just a very attractive coat. Fully lined in rayon satin with hook and eye closure. Made in Canada. In very good to excellent condition with a few minor notes with details shown in last four photos. 1) The bottom eye closure is busted. The coat closes fine without it but you may want to replace this. 2) There is a very thin impression or watermark on the suede in front. 3) I have resewn some open seams around the pockets and reinforced the inside (not visible under lining) with small triangles of suede. The stitching on the outside is not a perfect match, but I find this super minor. The coat is shown here on a form with 36”/26”/36” proportions. There are about two extra inches in the waist, but I think these bust and hip measurements are the ideal, maximum. I find with coats basing measurements on fit on the form is more effective than trying to measure accurately on the outside.
