I believe this is a mid-sixties suit... the skirt has a nylon zipper.
The label reads: A Hand Tailored Model By Henry White Of Dublin.
There is no fiber label, but I think it's a wool suit. I guess you could call it a tweed, but it's not the traditional chevron design, it has stripes of orange, cream, & brown, with heavier, fuzzier wool threads on tangerine and a redder orange woven through. It's very unique, please see close up pics! The buttons look like mushroom, or coconut or something, man made of course.
The lining is a bronze, and is in excellent condition in the jacket, but has some damage in one area inside the skirt. It's nothing that can be seen, of course.
The suit is in awesome vintage condition other than the skirt lining and one of the buttons is scuffed, see pics.
No size tag, but I'm guessing S to M, size 6 to 8.
Jacket measurements lying flat:
Armpit to armpit 20"
Waist 19"
Hips 19"
Length from collar in back 21"
Sleeves from point of shoulder 21.5"
Skirt:
Waist 26" circumference
Hips 37" "
Hem 36" " ***
Length 25.5" "
***Note: There is an 8" slit in back, but the lining has a length of the matching wool across the hem in back that shows through the slit!
