Question: I see the width is 16.5”. Is that at the top of the bag/the widest part? Or the bottom/the narrowest part? If the former, what is the width on the bottom? Will it fit files that are 8.5 x 11”?

@joannevos hi thank you for your interest in this lovely bag. The 16.5 is measured at the top. The bottom measures 13" across and the height is 10.75". So it should be able to hold your files.
