Vintage hand-thrown studio pottery mug with a beautiful earthy glaze — deep denim blue blending into soft green over a raw, speckled clay body. The glaze has natural movement and drip, and the texture is really nice in hand.
Great shape with a slightly flared rim and a comfortable pulled handle. This has a clear 1970s studio pottery / artisan feel, likely made by an individual potter rather than mass-produced. Signed on the bottom (illegible but hand-marked).
Works perfectly as a coffee or tea mug, or styled on a shelf with books and plants.
Details:
• Approx. 5” tall
• Approx. 3.5–4” diameter at base
• Glazed interior
• Signed on base
• No chips or cracks noted; normal handmade variation
Era: circa 1970s
Material: stoneware studio pottery

@ginajarmanhill I’m not sure. I’d compare it to another mug of similar size that you have.
