”IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S ON FIRE!” SAID MY GIRLFRIEND WHEN SHE SAW THIS BEAUTIFUL BRIGHTLY COLORFUL BLAZER BY BIRCH HILL. It’s pre-owned, but in near-perfect condition, free of defects, damage, or signs of wear. It has padded shoulders, a collar and lapels, vertical pockets in the lower front, and a 3-button closure in front. The buttons are oversized brown disks with beige flecking (picture #12). It features an intricate pattern of plant forms in red, orange, and yellow mostly, creating the flaming effect, with accents of white, black, and purple. It’s fully lined in lustrous brown 100% polyester fabric (picture #13). The outer fabric is 100% cotton, dry clean only recommended. The stated size is XL, apparently a Juniors size; a regular XL would be far too large for my slender mannequin, Roxy. Prospective buyers are encouraged to compare the measurements with those of a jacket that they know fits well. Measurements are: chest, pit to pit 21.5”; waist 20.5”; hemline 22”; shoulder 16.5”; sleeve 25”; length (in back, collar seam to hem) 25”.
